A partnership spanning three countries and 70+ franchise centres, we redesigned and rebuilt the NumberWorks'nWords website from the ground up. The result? A 215+ page multi-site that finally gives franchisees the tools they deserve and helps parents find their local centre in seconds.
Web Design & Development
NumberWorks'nWords needed a visual system that could flex across a sprawling digital presence without losing consistency. With 70+ centres, three countries and a whole lot of pages, things could get messy fast.
The old website was held together by good intentions and not much else. A rigid CMS made simple updates painful, and the legacy codebase had become a liability. We started fresh with Statamic, pairing it with a React front-end and Laravel API to give the team flexibility without the headaches.
We designed a fully custom icon suite that's become a core part of how the brand communicates. Clean, purposeful and scalable, the icons now appear throughout their marketing, not just on the website. It's the kind of detail that quietly does a lot of heavy lifting.
With 215+ pages serving localised content across New Zealand, Australia and the UK, the architecture needed to be rock solid. We refined user journeys throughout, but the real focus was the centre finder. It's the heart of the site, designed to get parents to their nearest centre quickly, while giving franchisees landing pages that actually add value to their business.
Migrating from the old system meant untangling years of legacy cruft, but the end result is a website that's faster, easier to manage and built to grow with the business.
